Izziyana is a textile artist whose work journeys into the potential of the textile medium as a form of expression. First beginning with embroidery on photographs and paper, she has used the textile medium to express notions of time, history and personal identity. She has since expanded her textiles language by including other techniques such as weaving, knitting, punch needle and more recently tufting and latch hook. Currently she enjoys mending and finding ways to create sustainably.
